Each chalet offers a glass wall providing unhindered views of the Hunnasgiriya Mountain range. The property has been recognized as one of the Best New Hotels In the World by international accolades. Rooms are designed for digital detox with many shared spaces intentionally Wi-Fi free.

Dining

Meals are served without printed menus, with chefs proposing a menu based on each guest's dietary preferences using fresh organic vegetables grown on site. The culinary experience has earned international accolades for its cuisine. All room categories are available on a full-board basis.

Wellness & Spa

Santani is the first full-fledged destination spa in Sri Lanka with a 6000 sq ft spa featuring a thermal saltwater pool, sauna, and steam room. The spa includes premier hydrotherapy options and offers daily group Hatha yoga sessions free of charge. Wellness packages for guests staying 5 nights or more include detox, weight loss, and programs combining ancient Ayurveda with modern health science.

Activities & Excursions

Guests can join guided excursions such as river walks, tea factory visits, and tea estate walks arranged on request. A nature immersion walk to a nearby river is included in the room rate, led by knowledgeable local guides. The resort is located 1.5 hours from Kandy city and adjacent to the Knuckles Conservation Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
